Hi Folks
I am truly astounded of the knowledge you folk here have.
not been a member here long but long enough to know I know next to nothing about glass lol
and identifying this paperweight will be a breeze for you I am sure
I think it is Murano but it is the only one I have in my meagre collection that has the pattern under the canes it is totally flat on the bottom it is 3'' wide and 2/1/2'' tall
would be grateful to know maker and date please
kind regards Alan

Hi Alan

I agree it is Murano.  The flat bottom and cushion of coloured fragments are typical of Murano pieces.  The canes suggest to me it is probably from the 1950 - 1970 period, rather than more recent.
