(Themed) glass displays - show me yours, I'll show you mine... part 4
chopin-liszt:
My tricorn bottle isn't amethyst (*pout*) - just plain old blue, (but I got it for £12 + p&p ;D).
When it arrived, I thought there was something wrong with the shape! :-[
goyjus:
£12!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please tell me it was a long time ago!?
I love the bottles. I'm quite keen to get my hands on an Isle of Wight attenuated bottle.
Do you know when Tricorns were in production from and till, Sue?
Is Amethyst a rarer/more desirable colour?
Looking forward to when I finally get to move so I can get everything on display again...
chopin-liszt:
Yes, it was a very, very long time ago. Probably around 2001.
I believe the tricorn bottles were not produced after Michael Harris left, and amethyst would be more scarce - yours is the first I've seen - and I happen to like amethyst, so to me it is more desirable.
goyjus:
Many thanks. Would it be possible to see a picture of your bottle?
Nemmie:
Nice tricorn. Not sure it is the best I have ever seen though, I prefer mine. :) Although your shape is very well defined I must admit.
I have seen a few onions on my travels around the south east.
