thanks for the Townsend link David.         I only have four tiles and these came from a charity shop some year or two back, and I've compared my tiles with images on your link, and whilst three are identical, there is one  -  the Seal  -  which differs from the image shown on your link.
Your picture shows a seal reclinging on its back, whilst my tile depicts the animal sitting upright facing right - very different.       If you'd like a pic. of this different pose let me know sometime :)

The white Yasmin isn't very obvious, the red is though. :) Have never found the yellow version... yet!  ;D

they are attractive pieces, they have almost a chinoisery look.............my personal opinion was that the white background version was a bit of a failure design wise..........the white blossom tends to disappear into the background and the effect is lost.

I agree Paul;  the red one hangs on my kitchen wall, the white one has been re-homed!

thanks Anne for posting the pix, people may well have wondered what we were speaking about.

Looking through Miller's '20th Century Glass' - page 106 - it appears that the caption titles are wrong for the images shown.     I think the picture is of the Peacock design.

From memory I think you're right. I know the promotional photo that Andy McConnell used, but I photographed the actual example at Smethwick Heritage Centre. Rare as hen's teeth...
