Thanks for your reply, Dirk!

I would love to see your new (unusual) purchases, so if you find the time do post some pics, please.
From the 5 Ikora pieces I have seen during the last year, two had severe cracks, one was too expensive, and the remaining two are mine :)

Regarding my lamps: I saw yet another one of those slightly dubious Ikora lamps at the fleamarket last saturday, again with rounded brass fitting. They seem to be far more abundant in Austria than in Germany...

Bit strange indeed you seem to run across them that often...  ???

IŽll make a post with my Ikoras this weekend. Three are already photographed, and
BTW not all of them are unusual - just 2 and a half or so...  ;D

One more from this 1936 Ikora "range", pattern number E 691/5027, almost 30 cm high. From Naschmarkt fleamarket...
Really big and really lovely :D

very pretty markings and I love the lemony bubble effect at the top :)

I've been keeping an eye out but am struggling to find a shape and colours that I like.

Thanks, m!
It's a stunning piece, my favourite recent purchase...

I was watching a few Ikora pieces on ebay recently, and the better ones seem to fetch astronomical sums atm.
So I have to wait until they come my way locally.

Found me a very nice Dexel egg, too, but I have to be patient as it will be a Christmas present :)
