Age of these is hard to confirm as being either pre- or post-war, but it is certainly one those two periods.
Although many 1930s PY weights have an unfinished base (i.e. they have a visible pontil scar of some type) some were polished smooth on the base, especially, but not always, those with a clear ground.
However, what I have personally called "barrel canes" (those lying on their side) seem to appear most frequently in pre-war weights.
If the colour of the clear glass appears "tinted" or "grey" (but not "yellow tinted"), then together the other points, I would say it is very likely 1930s period.
