I saw a part set in this design in clear peachy pinky colour today and with it was one of these French cog wheel based small decanters which was a spot-on match for colour: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,41939.0.html - Ivo says the decanters are "100% Arques" - so could this point us in the right direction for this set??? Did Arques make trinket sets?
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

The set has now been found with a Tynesyde label:

Photos curtesy of Leonie Fox...

I can also confirm I have an amber set with another Tynesyde Label. No photos as yet but hopefully soon.

It seems the maker is still Sowerby

For information;

http://www.glassencyclopedia.com/Sowerbyglass.html

Snippet "In the 1930's the company had new designs (The Tynesyde Glassware series), new mold makers (from Bohemia) and new technology which made good quality glass cheaper"
