AnyID thoughts  please on this 5 inch ruby red jug. I thought Whitefriars 9648 but have been caught out so many times before. Polished out pontil mark. Thanks John

Yep.  That's the 9648.  A 'Sparrow Beak' with a plan handle, rather than a celery handle like the other 'Sparrow Beak' jugs.  Most of the ruby jugs were made by Ray Annenberg, I believe.
