Strathearn ? Vasart (Ysart Bros) paperweight for ID
« on: June 18, 2012, 02:26:20 PM »
I have a pink ground paperweight and not sure where it is from, maybe Vasart (Ysart Bros). I saw a similar one on the net somewhere, but it was not pink ground.

It is 2.5" tall approx 3" diameter approx

Any help on the ID and rough age of this paperweight will be greatly appreciated.

Hi.

I think it is one of those late Vasart / early Strathearn pieces that are hard to separate. So mid 1960s would be my estimate.

They came with many different colours of ground: attached is an image of some of the Strathearns I used to own!
