Quite a large animal - 25 cm = 10", most likely from Murano (as there are very few sharks in the Czech republic), constructed out of white inner, grey powder body and cased in clear.

Looking for confirmation of Murano, and possibly a maker?

Murano sharks seem to have a different look about them. Yours looks like a cross between a dolphin and a shark. Maybe just the angle of the shot? But the tails on Murano sharks seem to go to a sharper point. Obviously not all of them.. still researching...

Almost seems like dolphin tails are horizontal and shark tails are vertical.

it's a shark all right - the mouth is underneath, the fins are anatomically correct.

Ivo, I found what looks like your shark at www.rikaro.com.au/cu.8m_+_cu.8. I've heard Rikaro markets glass from China, Japan, and the Czech Republic. I don't know the source of your shark, but it looks like the Rikaro one.

Cool. Australia is famous for its sharks. I can see on their website that most glass there is Chinese, some is from Japan and the Desna they also have is Czech. So I must assume the snark is of Chinese origin....
