A 4-piece geometric trinket set in green uranium glass for ID, please.

(Permission for the re-use of the images on the GMB granted by Rachel Brookes).

The pieces are:

A tray 11½ inches long x 5¾ inches wide. In the form of 3 octagons joined side to side (the centre octagon being larger than those to either side) with octagonal roll handles ribbed circumferentially (a bit like knife rests).

A perfume atomiser (to sit on one of the outer tray compartments), square at the shoulders(measuring 2 ¾ inches square) but an unequal octagon at the base so that the side corners are triangular  (with fan-like vertical ribs).

A matching perfume bottle of similar size to fit on the other side of the tray. The bottle stopper is square in cross section .

A matching lidded pot (to sit in the central tray compartment) somewhat wider than the atomiser or perfume bottle (3 ½ inches square at the shoulders) but slightly shorter, the lid finial also square in cross section.

I can’t recall seeing a similar set similar before, but I suspect that the uranium glass and geometric design place it in the 1930s, and that it came from continental Europe but nothing in Pamela's 'unknowns' to match.

ID’s, ideas or suggestions, please?

Fred.

So it is, Anne - clever lady!

I supposed I missed it partly because the set on page 1 is mixed in with the kitchen & domestic glassware.

I will contact the owner with the good news shortly.

Many thanks.

Fred.

Yes it confused me too at first Fred, I wasn't sure if it was a cruet set or a boudoir set!  The pieces are shown separately elsewhere in the catalogue too, so it's clear they are the latter. It's also on the being rebuilt GTS website (now with added photos too!) Thank you. :)
