Caithness Goblets
« on: July 17, 2012, 07:00:31 PM »
Set of six Caithness goblets or glasses in peat. I have a Canisbay decanter and goblets where the goblets are 5.25" high, these six are smaller at 4.5" high - they have 1980s plastic labels and 'Design Centre London' labels - These are smaller versions, there were four sizes according to Mark Hill's book and Canisbay was made until 1988. I can say there were twelve but I only bought six - any ideas welcomed.

Hi Adam

Nice set. I have a set of six the same - took them with me to the last collectors fair thinking I would put them out  to sell, then   re wrapped them and put them away - couldn't bear to do so. I will probably never use them as they are really small bowls by today's standards , but a lovely shape and lovely to hold.

Not sure what ideas you are looking for - you seem to have the info already?
regards
