Thanks Anne
You may not remember but you have rescued me before....
The Aseda website is brilliant, I think that I may have other pieces in my collection, but without labels.
Certainly have a lovely ridged vase in greens.
Thanks again!!!

Hi Lilian

Glad to see this large floor vase

It is very similar to Gullaskruf bottle/floor vase in shape/size designed by A Percy.

I have a some Gullaskruf vases by A Percy - from 19" upwards. Ivo or Frank once commented they had seen a huge one in auction.

I wonder if Aseda did a blue version of your vase Lilian - also did Gullaskruf do the A Percy vase in any other colour than blue?

Vidfletch, do you know? it's just to avoid confusion between my vases which I am thinking 'some could be Aseda' now I have seen this photo.

Thanks

Adam P

The foil label like this one was generally used in the 1970's. Åseda were taken over by Royal Krona in 1975 and shut in 1977. The label from the Royal Krona years is different. There were a few different labels used over the years. Only a couple of weeks ago I bought an Åseda vase purely because the label was one I had never seen before.

It is probably early seventies. Many Swedish companies made vases in this shape. Must be a Swedish thing! LOL!!!

I have never seen one as large as that by anyone. It's huge!

It might fit into an empty carpet spool (allow for padding / bubble wrap).
Ask at local carpet shops.
