Dog shaped bottle - Italian

14" detailed dog shaped bottle with head as stopper - cork is plastic - I was thinking Italian maybe Empoli c1970s - any ideas welcomed

Giannotti wine bottles from Italy 60's / 70's comes with a matching cat bottle. Have seen them in blue & green also.

Always  thought the were sausage dogs ( can't spell dachshund )

Takes me back to the 70's!! My mum had both the Dog and the Cat, I believe a Dachshund and a Siamese!
