Is this a Vladimir Svab (Beranek glassworks) paperweight?
« on: July 23, 2012, 08:08:41 PM »
While looking for the pattern number for my lovely Vladimir Svab vase here on the 7th page, I came across a bubbly paperweight, also designed by Svab, pattern number 9418/10.  I thought it looked very similar to a paperweight which was given to me by a really kind Czech seller (the same person who recently sold me the Svab vase) about a year ago.

It's 10cm tall and wide, and weighs 1005kg.  The base is polished flat with a very, very light bevelled edge.

I appreciate your help and comments,
Anik

It looks like the 9418 weights on the Beranek website, and with a height of 10 cm this sounds like a good attribution -- nice one!

Thank you, Michael...  I thought it looked similar enough to be 'it' and I'm glad that you think so as well.  :)
