Picked this up at the weekend as one of my few boot fair buys because it looked appealing even though a little battered. Also not used to seeing these small weights.
Love to know a maker and possible age. Does seem to have some wear to the base.

Oops should have mentioned it is 3.5cm across and 2cm high.

As well as the info that Wolf has linked to, the Vasart ones of the same size (and slightly smaller) were also used on bar set items (bottle openers etc.) and as car gear shift handles. See
ysartglass.com
