Small pink conch with gold foil and an acid? Treated surface. I am thinking Archimede - am i wrong?  Greetings from Inverness.

there is something similar here attributed to Seguso in green with gold, no corroso or acid treatment but has a partial outline of a paper label left on base.

Thank you for the pointers.  I have now found that these are indeed by Archimede Seguso and he made them in many different colours, with or without corroso finish.
