Sandin glass - ID = Andrew Sanders
« on: August 02, 2012, 06:44:09 AM »
This thickwalled ball vase is signed "Sandin" and it was found in Aberdeen.  The only relative I could find online is this listing - which does nothing for my curiosity.

Does anyone know anything about Sandin?

The bottle is definitely Andrew Sanders as I have one myself somewhere and the signature in your pic looks like Sanders to me.

Thank you - it is a new name for me and yes, you're absolutely right, the sig reads Sanders once you know it .

Website for Sanders and Wallace: http://www.kingstreetworkshops.co.uk/glassmakers/index.php

I have had a couple of his bits and the signature tended to look like Saunders to me. ::)
