And another one if I may. This one I know is 70s because my Mum gave it to me and it was a present to her around 1974-5.

This picture I found is just like it but I am not sure what it is or anything like that.

Thanks muchly

Fox

edited as asked, I'll get a picture of my actual one :)

If it is not your picture, you are not allowed to post it for copyright reasons. However, what you have, if it's like this, is a nice piece of Mdina. I'm sure Sue and John will be along soon with more detail

It's in storage as we have just moved but I will ask my Mum if she has the picture she showed me before she packed it all up!

And now with a picture! It is dated 1978 and signed by someone but we can't make it out.

That is a Fish vase from Mdina, colour is Tortoiseshell. Date you know. ;D

If it does not say Mdina Glass (and the date) then the signature will either (allegedly) read Eric Dobson or Joseph Said.  Allegedly as both variations are usually like an amphetamine charged squiggle. If the squiggle ends on a down stroke then likely Dobson, if it ends on an up stroke then more likely Said.

Very nice! When it comes to Fish vases made after Michael Harris left, these somewhat triangular shaped Tortoiseshell ones are my favourites. I don't know why, I don't really like "brown" that much, but these make it look good!
