Are the "bumps" arranged in neat rows, both horizontally and vertically?  If so, I am coming to believe that vases like this are from Japan from a maker like Kamei or Hineri.  Kamei seems to have this type of "bumps" rather than the dragged surface type that seems to come from Europe.  Also the European types tend to be made in a very random pattern in most cases.

I have included 4 photos.  The first three's attribution are confirmed, the fourth is my attribution as the "bumps" are identical in form to that of the Kamei Citrine vase.

I notice the bumps are neatly arranged vertically.  Are they also arranged neatly horizontally, say every second column?  If so I strongly suspect the vase is Japanese from a good company like Kamei or Hineri.

If you live in Australia it is even more likely as most Japanese glass has paper labels and it does not take much to lose them or remove them.  Unfortunately I have not been able to find a Japanese site that is able to help identify their glass so one has to rely on finding labelled pieces - very much hit & miss.

I've seen this vase, or one very similar, on a forum like this, requesting an Id, but I don't think they got one.

Alton11 would you please post an item only once, and then reply / bump it, rather than repost, otherwise we have to chase all over the board merging topics. Thanks!

By the way, if you post in the wrong place, just reply asking a mod to move it and we will.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd
