New buy (while in London I am trawling the charity and bric-a-brac shops) - pink bird with polished base - is it alabastro? remains of paper label to base - all washed off but I can see the edging. plastic label to side (partial) I can read 'Murano' in gold - is this Seguso (Archimedes) Alabastro?

You got it, Adam. We have its open wing friend in the zoo. Would you like to put your bird's picture next to it. Just let me know (and email me your last name so I can credit it). It would be great to have them both in there.

Thanks Anita. Yes you can use the picture in the zoo or I can email you a better one if you like. I'll email you my name.

Adam, your bird is in the zoo now with its mate. They look happy to be together. The bird on the right lost its mate when I didn't bid enough on eBay. Thank you for including your bird in the zoo. The link is http://sites.google.com/site/muranozoo/birds-6. Let me know if there are any changes you want to make.
