Art Deco(?) glass vase.
« on: August 12, 2012, 10:48:50 AM »
I picked up this glass vase at a flea market and while no expert on glass or antiques generally I think i'm right in thinking it dates from the 20's or 30's.It has a thick base and the glass has a greenish tinge.I'd appreciate if anyone with more knowledge on the subject could throw some more light on it.Thank's.

Hello and welcome to the board. Could you add an in focus shot of the base and the dimensions please? We might also need a better shot of the item against a plain dark background as it's a bit fuzzy in places.  Feel free to shout for help with images if you get stuck.

Hope this helps.Sorry the pictures aren't of better quality but for some reason I can't load pictures from my camera on here as it says the file is too big so my phone pictures will have to do. The vase is approx 11 inches long by 3 and a half wide.
Thank's.

Nope, too dark I'm afraid.  If you're struggling to resize the camera pics you could try using an online resizer. You just upload your images one at a time and set it to normal, set max width & height both to 700 pixels and it should bring it within the limits of the board for you to add back here. :) http://www.imageoptimizer.net/Home.aspx
