I know that mention of the crackle glass from Apsley Pellat has been on the board before, but just for future reference this article in the Illustrated Exhibitor 1852 mentions a visit to Apsley Pellat's glassworks and discusses amongst other types of glass, cased glass of two layers cut through as well as ice glass or crackle glass.  (also discusses millefiori  paperweights which have been discussed on here before)
The cased glass is mentioned with specific reference to toilet and scent bottles.
