Does anyone know anything about Boissiere from France who registered a design in England in 1872?

Hi,

See attached photo.

I think it is money box.

Has the word "DEPOSE" on the side.

Registered 19/11/1872.

As far as I am aware, 'Depose' simply translates as 'registered'.

Hello

Can we assume there is a registry lozenge as well as Depose?

Boissiere & Ch. Augueuelle, La Verrerie du Gast (Orne) France registered a design November 19, 1872.  This link will take you (I hope) to a history of the factory on google books. It is in French so I hope you can work that out.

Thanks, or rather Merci,

There is indeed a lozenge, reads 19, I, K, 5, starting at 12 o'clock.
