17 1/2in Brown & White Bowl - is this Monart?
« on: May 31, 2013, 06:17:19 PM »
Not the most beautiful bowl in the world but very big at 17 1/2ins diameter x 4 1/4ins high and weighing 3.12kg. The squiggle in picture 1 is just reflection. This has a ground polished foot-ring. Looks a bit like Monart to me but I haven't found anything similar on Scotland's Glass or the older Ysart glass website. Any thought on ID would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Shame about the squiggle being just a reflection - it's rather attractive!
It's not Monart - or any other Ysart glass. But I'm afraid I don't know what it is either, sorry.
Probably a good bit more recent than Ysart.
