Unfortunately, Flavio Poli has turned into a generic word like Holmegaard is used for anything bright with white interior, Loetz for anything iridescent, so on & so forth.

The colours in that basket look to be a little different, the basket appears dark blue and light blue, the fish is dark blue and bluey green (more green than blue). Tricky comparing tones like this.

Scandinavian anyone?

Hi John,   Nice striking piece of organic glass sculpture!  Have you tried searching via. Pina Sinoretto?   I seem to recall seeing something very similar to this whilst browsing.  .  Here's another sculpture that  has the sommerso effect even though it is a significant difference to yours.

Thanks Otis (my apologies for the delay), Sinoretto's work seems more figural and not quite as abstract as this fish/badger/snail.

I am open to all possibilities m, Exbor does seem unlikely though but only because their fish are well documented. Is this fish too abstract for Murano? Massive generality I know, probably easy to shoot that idea down in flames....
