Strombergshyttan Pitcher
« on: October 21, 2011, 10:18:44 PM »
Thought I'd post this Strombergshyttan Pitcher I picked up a couple of weeks ago simply because of signature. Supposedly Strombergshyttan pieces have a letter designating the piece, examples: vases "A", bowls "T", Plates "A", Carafes "E" & bottles & glasses "O" etc. & since I'd never seen a pitcher before & it says "N" 12 if logic follows then "N" might be the designation for Pitchers. Hi Ken,

You are correct.  The 1935 catalog describes N as standing for 'glass jugs'.
