Because it was ID'd as a Murano made piece.

Glass is the place to ask for an ID if you don't know where it's made - e.g. unlabelled or unmarked items, things which could be from various places, makers, etc... - by it's nature it's a high-traffic forum.

Once we know where it was made or who made a piece then it gets moved to the specialist discussion forum covering that area. These are less busy and it means that further discussion can take place without it dropping out of sight within hours. More info can come out in those forums, as we have people with specific interests who can add more - but they don't all visit everyday, so more info may take a while coming to light.

Does that help explain how the board works?
