Hi All,
I found this little vase today, I initially thought Caithness, but when I picked it up, its marked C.A-L together with the initials FW. The seagulls look hand painted, the blue marbled glass effect for the sea is nice. Its a very light weight bowl and looks brand new, but I cant find anything on the net, but I'm also unsure what key words to use, the initials or hand painted seagulls brought Ziltch.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Cheers, David

The  Å has a little circle over it, so you can concentrate the search to Sweden.  Åke is a most probable first name.

I was wondering what the FW was... might this have been the glass blower?

It is a lovely bowl David... just imagine that on the windowsill of a seaside cottage... Magic!

what did you google Wayne?

Well to be honest I didn't know where to start, so I tried an image search for "glass bowl seagulls" and found that ebay listing.  :)

Rosie, I'm by the sea, and although it's not a cottage, it does look great in the window. Wayne, I was trying too hard with the markings That I overlooked the obvious search! I think looking at the info on her site that the FW mark could stand for, maybe, the Range it's from.
Cheers again for the help guys and girls, David
