Then by Angela's own self admission as stated in her book, she will of course KNOW that non-listed items/patterns and indeed colour variations DO existand wer most definately produced by Bagley. Am not saying for one moment that the above set was, but it sure as heavens could have been. Amen.

Uranium pressed glass tray - Mystery Set 20
« Reply #21 on: April 20, 2012, 04:16:30 PM »
This is similar to patterns by both Walther and Rudolfova (Inwald), but I haven't seen any trays that match.

Walther certainly made trays with this asymmetric style of handle.

Any ideas?  Ta.

Yes, still unknown at this time, Chris. It comes in various colours including a rather curious toffee / cinnamon brown (not amber!), which I'm hoping might be a useful pointer to who made it.

These are the other parts of the set:

Oh wow!  Are you collecting trinket sets, or just documenting them?  Sorry, I've been out of circulation for a while (not at Her Majesty's Pleasure, don't worry  ;))

The strange brown colour:  is it like the UGB Kingfisher bowl? Or more of a dark amber like the various bits of Czech that are often thought to be Rosice (I have a couple of rocket vases)?
Or cinnamon like Whitefriars?  Or completely different?

Hi Chris, nice to see you back!  :-*

I'm both collecting and documenting them. I have around 80 trays and 15 boxes of pots, candlesticks and other parts so far (probably around 300 items.)  I've probably got enough to be a small exhibition somewhere!  ;D

I'm also collecting images sent to me by kind folks here and elsewhere to add to the GTS site. It's a bit behind at the moment as I have little time to spare to update it, but it'll get done bit by bit.

I don't have a piece in this cinnamon colour yet, I have green and clear so far, so have only seen an image of the colour and it might be a trick of the camera and not cinnamon at all! ;D I've just checked and it is made in amber as well, as I found a set listed in amber on eBay.
