Annes's Mystery Set 32 - more items?
« on: August 25, 2012, 01:38:42 PM »
A pressed glass trinket set in pale-to-mid-blue, comprising rectangular tray, a pair of candlesticks, and a lidded pot with pointed finial to lid. Also a uranium green tray in the same pattern.

The candlesticks would appear to match those of Anne's Mystery Set 32 at
http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=189:mystery-set-32&catid=28:mysteries&Itemid=52

The trays have a distinctive pattern of a 3x5 lined square grid, with alternate squares of the grid containing a diagonal pattern of lines and panels within half of each decorated square.

Ooohh interesting, as my candlestick is the same as the blue ones. They have wee notches on them...  I'll check... :)

I wasn't sure if these were part of a set of standalones, as I've only ever seen the one stick before this.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

A set in green uranium glass, this time with 2 small pots (lacking their lids, perhaps?) and a ringholder.

The pot bases have a characteristic square decoration divided across the diagonal, with one of the two triangles so formed ridged parallel to the hypotenuse.

A part set in non-uranium green.

Both sizes of pot complete with lids (though finials damaged on both), and with the addition of a perfume atomiser.
