Giant Green Mod "International Vase of Mystery"
« on: August 25, 2012, 08:50:02 PM »
I think I've found Austin Powers' vase! Pretty "MOD," don't you think? It's enormous, measures 14 1/2" (36 cm) tall.  I'm pretty sure it is not Empoli, German or Japanese.  It vaguely reminds me of West Virginia/USA factory glass (Morgantown? Greenwich Flint?), but that doesn't seem right either.  Clearly not Blenko, the bottom lacking any kind of pontil.  The bottom is actually slightly concave, which is odd.  Maybe something Wayne Husted designed for Zeller Glass?  Any help would be appreciated.
