A vase bought in Bamberg
« on: August 31, 2012, 02:03:49 PM »
I hope you can help me to know something more about the vase in the attached pictures which I have bought some weeks ago in a flea market in Bamberg, Germany.
I do not know if it is really made in Germany but anyway it is quite heavy and, to me, it is hand blown and hand painted (with a gold colour) and probably made among the thirties and the beginning of the forties.
Thanks a lot for your help and greetings from Rome,

Hello and welcome to the board. I'm moving your topic as it's an ID request, which should have been posted into GLASS. The country forums are for discussion of items of known country origins, and yours is currently unknown. Please do check out the Help forum for handy hints on how to get the best out of using the board. :) Fingers crossed that someone will be able to tell you about your piece.
