Large flint jug with handle & slight pattern to rim,feels old??

Hi all,
I bought this acouple of weeks ago.
Once again it has been packed for a move,sorry  ::)
Its quite a large jug & heavy,thick glass.

I know i'm pushing it without being able to show good photo's,this is the only one i found,any ideas on age please,it does feel old to me??
I maybe able to find this one,not sure.

the rim decoration looks like a rope pattern - although that won't get us anywhere unfortunately.       Water jugs are too numerous to mention, and attribution is unlikely, most of the time.       Sometimes the handle can be an indicator of age - or at least the way it is applied to the body (a frilly bottom attachment would suggest pre 1860 ish) - but this looks C20.      You say 'large', so am assuming a water jug, and not a cream/milk jug.       What is the significance of the spoon - for size comparison? :)

Yep size comparing for the jug,it would be a water one.
Sorry i knew it was going to be hard,my best bet is to have another look when we have moved n unpacked.
I really was wondering on age,so i will check the handle when able.
