Caithness paperweight ID help please No2
« on: September 05, 2012, 07:20:10 PM »
Hi All, this is the 2nd paperweight that I picked up today, again I couldnt find a match on the Scottish Glass Website, or not one that looked a match to me ( but I'm not sure how close 1 paperweight is to another! ) This one is the same brown/black with a lot more of the orange. The edge has a kind of wave effect with a small bubble between the waves. There are no Caithness marks to the base at all on this one. I was told they were both bought over 15 years ago, but who can you believe these days when your buying stuff.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
cheers, David
