A new paperweight, but I haven't any idea who made it
« on: April 03, 2006, 07:55:41 PM »
This is a new one, and the etched signature is worse than most doctors' handwriting. If anyone knows who it is, please let me know. I put some talc on the base so I could see the illegible signature.

Might be Anthony Stern.

Examples of his signature were shown in earlier messages (Paperweight and Glass forums) but all images seem to have vanished (Tinypic syndrome).

Yup - Anthony Stern. I've got an original here to compare it with!

It was Adam A that confirmed my Anthony Stern signature, and as Adam knows Anthony Stern very well, I do not think he can be doubted in any way! I'm sure he'll come along and confirm, somewhere, as I saw this query originally in another post.

Here is a picture of a Ptrick Stern cube paperweight, note the chessboard cane bottom right and there is a PS signature cane in the base

Dear All,

I thought the following picture of a Patrick Stern signature cane would be of interest. The paperweight also bears is signature.

With kind regards

Andrew

Are Patrick and Anthony Stern related to each other?
We appear to have a thread about Anthony's work, (although the images have vanished) which is somehow acquiring Patrick's work.

Should I ask a moderator to split the thread to make one thread for each artist?

They are brothers.
