Crystal Stirrup or bell ????
« on: September 07, 2012, 09:33:55 AM »
I picked this up at a bootfair. It has a Quality look to it IMHO (H for humble as I usual am on this site  ;) ) It doesn't appear to have been a bell. Its slimmer than the many many bells I see everywhere. No marks.  It is 16cm in height and the pictures tell the rest.

Bit early to bump so sorry, I checked the inside of this for any sign of adhesive etc to see if a clanger had been in it. No sign at all. I searched every Crystal site I have links to and 1 'Crystal' site I have blocked ! Any clue to age and maker would be great. Thanks all. Pete

Had a look through my glass bell book and can't see anything similar,as you say it's quite slim, has no clapper or marks where one would have been, it might well be a styrrup cup. ;D ;D
