Salvador Ysart gifted piece
« on: September 09, 2012, 03:36:37 PM »
This piece was gifted by Salvador to Jack Henderson (http://www.ysartglass.com/Ysart/YsartSpecial.htm ) and is still owned by the family and is on display in the shop, now run by Jack's grandson. The catalogue shape is ED and is 13 inches tall. The decoration style is cloisonne with a green inner. There is a Monart Glass paper label, Though the size, shape and colour codes have been scratched off. I have include an image (poor quality) of label.

Lovely base colours and shape to that piece.  Has the photo been taken with a flash?

Hi Flying Free, the first two were taken with a flash the one below is taken without a flash. I suppose the true colouring is something in between the two.

Lovely!  much nicer to see it without the flash - it shows the colouring off more realistically and doesn't make the crackle layer so predominant.
