Topic: chunky orange/clear vase - scalloped top - any help with ID?

I am a volunteer Ebay seller for a charity : http://www.furnitureplus.org.uk/

I need some help with the identification of this vase.  Is it Chinese, or what?   It is quite chunky, thick glass.

It stands approx. 11 in/28 cm tall.

The base is  concave, and  the pontil mark is polished.

Any help would be very gratefully received.
