Hoping someone may be able to help attribute this large covered glass pokal/goblet, which measures just under 17 inches / 43cm tall.
Unfortunately its had a tiny bit of restoration to the top of the stem, however, seems to scream quality. The bowl has been superbly engraved with an image of a horses head.
The foot has a very small step and the base has been polished completely smooth.
The base is signed and dated as shown in the last photo 8, although I'm not completely sure of the signature or date at present, any thoughts greatly appreciated.
Certainly looks Venetian in style and composition, perhaps drawing inspiration from an earlier period..?
All thoughts suggestions welcome. (8 Photos attached)
