Monart mushroom posy TF colour 396 - actually colour code 261
« on: September 11, 2012, 09:59:42 AM »
This was another addition to my 20's and 30's collection.  It has orange, lime green, pale aqua blue/green and lavender/grey in it, all in a creamish mottled background full of masses of bubbles and aventurine splashes.  I think it is colour code 396?
It's slightly wonky and the size is not 5 1/2" or 7" but actually 6 1/8" diameter.  Height is 2 3/4".

My very, very favourite mushroom posy shape (so much more elegant than any other) - and a beautiful colourway - shown off to its best advantage by the shape. 8) 8) 8)

Lovely - I have never had a Monart mushroom posy, I do currently have a Vasart one - yours is much nicer though.

Thanks all :)
Gary, thanks :)  I was pondering 261 but it says the splashes are red?  these are definitely orange and it seemed closer to 396 to me :-\

Hi colour code 396 has the main colour green with splashes of red/orange and green, where as colour code 261 the main colour is white with spalashes of red/orange and green.

ooh thanks for that - fabulous pics!  I love that bowl.  I will ask the mods if they could amend the title.
