Murano Bowl
« on: September 05, 2012, 04:14:58 PM »
Bowl in green with aventurine - white back and cased - bought cheaply because I have had these before with label 'Vetro Artistico Veneziano - Murano' labels to base - anyone confirm?

It does look like Murano glass, though I couldn't begin to guess who made them. The VAV label is usually found on pieces that are difficult or impossible to attribute. Still the bowl is nice glass.

Here is a photo of bowl with the VAV label from my archives - the finnish is almost identical.
