Perthshire? I think not.
« on: September 13, 2012, 09:46:20 AM »

I told the seller first time this paperweight was advertised that it was not Perthshire, and could not be 1950s Perthshire anyway - but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.

It looks like a bad image of a 3-flower spatter pattern.

Looks like it might favour curry rather than haggis

Until recently I would have tended to agree with Alan - but I am always willing to learn about new facts: the seller has taught me regarding Perthshire that "it all started in 1930s".

We should all make a corresponding note in our Mahoney-McClanahan books.
