Novy Bor?
« on: September 17, 2012, 09:45:48 AM »
Hello
Trying to id this vase blue with a overlaid green colour. Cylinder shape with multiple cutting to the outside.
Stands 26.5cm high diameter 7.5cm at base, chamferded inwards rim. polished pontil to the base and heavy thick wall.
The only thing I can find is in the Hi SKlo Lo Sklo book that looks similar technique is by Novy Bor designed by Karel Wunsch.
Another amber and red vase shown with the blue vase same pattern and slight variation in size and diameter.
Thanks
