Hi this bowl matches the bottle on the previous post I put up re id of my glass. It's hand made and has a broken pontil to the base. Does anyone know anything about my glass please? Thanks

Hi again, I don't think this bowl matches your other bits - it's far more finely blown.
Again, not Okra, but it does look a bit like Norman Stuart-Clarke. I have a small flask which would match beautifully..... but you're not getting it

Hi chopin-liszt, thanks for your reply
I thought it did match the pink bottle as they are very very similar in pattern but yes, you are right, it is more finely blown, but alas no marks apart from the broken pontil mark
I hope it does turn out to be Norman Stuart-Clarke as it cost me a grand total of £4 plus postage from Ebay 6 months ago

This is my flask. It's fully signed and dated '89.

Wow! What a beautiful piece of glass
I know my bowl is quite good quality, it presently sits next to my iridescent John Ditchfield and Kralik of similar colorways at the moment and holds it's own, though in fairness, yours is a very close match!

It is indeed.
The surfaces are worked in a similar way - with swirls - but I'd also think the the differences in the shapes of the two pieces would affect how swirls can be incorporated, so yours go linear around the neck - which has been stretched out to form the shape, while mine get a bit pulled up the neck.
The flask is small, about 4 inches tall.

How is the base on your flask finished Sue? is it ground neatly across the whole base? or does it have a snapped off neat pontil mark?
