No problem for me with your photos Chris.  Very fast to load and it zips through the selection back and forth at the speed of light when clicking on the arrows.

Perhaps you need to  clear your cache Sue?

Your system is working fine Chris, flicks through easily, and as you say, you have already put a permanent one on the thread for future reference.
Pretty vase by the way, would look lovely with daffodils in it!!  8)

Quite obviously we don't all have the most recent pc, and as we know speed is variable depending on your location and level of payment perhaps.          It has very rarely seemed essential to include more than four separate images - and with the greatest of respect to Chris, seven separate pix weren't really necessary for this piece.       No doubt someone will tell me that there is some advantage to using the picasa system of attaching files, but four straightforward images, all showing at the same time, does make for a little more simplicity. :) ;) ;D  (there, that should convey that I'm not being too serious ;))

Hi Paul, the album is primarily for my eBay  account hence the large number of photos and being a poor photographer  I normally take about a dozen sometimes more if it's a good piece and hope that a couple may turn out half decent :)
thanks Chris

I'm sure you do Chris  -  sometimes I do the same, and perhaps even more - looking for that elusive real cracker of a shot, although I then try to post only the best four.     Hope you didn't think I was being critical.     I don't have a picasa link on my current set up, and I miss what I think is the better pic. refinement method on that programme  -  still waiting for No. 1 son to visit and put all right for me.   The Apple arrangement somehow isn't quite the same ;)       But I guess we all get used to one system and then it becomes a habit.
