Allister Malcolm glasses
« on: September 19, 2012, 03:35:59 PM »
I was very pleased to find these glasses by Allister Malcolm in an antiques centre this week!  There are 3 blue and green and one blue and gold.  I suspect they were originally bought as a set of 6 and that there were 3 of each, but I'm very happy with these four   :)

Lovely Leni.
I have a small pot vase in this design, (Ripple?, I'll check). I bought in from ebay even before I met Allister. It was listed as IoWSG, I knew it wasn't, but it looked interesting and I got it anyway.

Then, when the Cambridge fair first went to Chilford and I was helping set up, I saw Allister's Platinum vase and made a bee-line for his stand. I discovered then my little pot was his work - so I told him about it.

He jumped about and shouted over to a colleague;  "I've arrived! I've had something sold and bought on ebay!"
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)
