unsigned glass swallow figurine

hi all,

hope one of you glass experts out there are able to help me, i have a cinnamon glass swallow paperweight, 13cm long x 12.5 high approx, it has no makers mark to base so i guess it would have had a sticker at some time.

hope someone recognises it as its really nice

Stylistically, it looks a great deal like birds made by the Wards at Titan Studios in the USA.  Usually signed, although others have copied their design and not signed them.  I have not seen a swallow by them.

stemidd, it is by V. Nason of Murano. It looks like a cross between a pigeon and swallow -- artistic license. I have a picture of one with a label that I "borrowed" from eBay. Definite ID. I would love to include it in the Murano Zoo. If you want to include it, just email me your full name and I'll give you credit for the photo.
