Already done  ;D Will have to be very careful with the packing on this piece ! It needs a very tall candle. A votive just doesn't fit but I agree it is a very good look. The link from TxSilver puts the ID at 100%. Now if anyone can sort the Bird Vase I added it will make a good day at the booty. (Langham Air Bubbles Paperweight, Stuart Crystal vase (£1), Murano Flower, Walther Heart and Uranium Bird/Vase) all for under £15. And I was an hour late  ;) Thanks again.   Pete

Were you as surprised as me when we were informed of how to use it  :-[ :-[ and how good it looks with the candle in the correct place ;D  My mind says stems go below a flower and just did not think it through :-[ Nice pieces though.

Still feeling a little sheepish about the candle thing  ;D. I was surprised it was murano but could see it was well made. Chalk another success up to the GMB. Thanks all. Pete

Pete, it is Italian, but not Murano. The labels just refer to it being made in the style of Murano glass. Personally I think they are made in the style of Naples glass. :)

Just read a post dated 2008 on another site that translates it as "glass was made according to the technique of the masters of murano" and it was hinted at that it may have been done to mislead tourists. More to do now ! The website shows the company address as being Casandrino Naples. Thanks TxSiver. Have amended the listing....again  ;D
