Strange, though that it wasn't recognised "as something" without the need to resort to finding marks on it.  ???

see below i think i pushed a wrong button ,,,,,,,, again  Doooooh

Well it was on a very overloaded stall the holder i know well and i spent a lot of time chatting and picking up odd pieces to look at the bases as one does , he also had a very very early piece of Ditchfied that i have one of his is signed , i have been trying a long time to ID it i think i showed it to Adam A  acouple of years ago and he said possibbly Ditchfield , anyway Tim Harris knew the piece well and gave us full history . Sue you know and respect my friend well , he i a bit shy tho .

It's always very exciting when you find something different and new/not seen before :)  Shame we can't see pics but it sounds a wonderful find John.  And also great to have identified one of your own pieces as well.

I thought all the really early Ditchfield bits were unique, signed and numbered... I didn't know there were any duplicates.  ???

Hi,

I don't suppose it was this one that was on ebay a few weeks back. I gave it a miss but it did look a nice vase.
