Kosta Boda or Not Kosta Boda? that is the question :-)
« on: September 28, 2014, 10:03:24 AM »
Hi,

Can anybody identify this glass bowl. It is reminiscent of a Kosta Boda bowl but doesn't seem quite right to me. It has raised decoration of what looks like an elf on a swan riding towards a church steeple, a Scandinavian style house, a man feeding ducks? etc..

Any Help would be appreciated

Many thanks for that, it would appear to be a generic Swedish factory, as the advert and link does not mention a manufacturer. I suspected as much as there wasn't that feeling of quality that you get from a good factory. At least I now know what it is, so I can pass it on, as it is not right for my collection.
So again many thanks Ivo and Anne, it is appreciated.

FYI I have now listed the Bowl on Ebay UK as it is not for me, search for Nils Holgersson if anyone is interested. A large discount is available to anyone who mentions this site when making an offer as I think that is only fair
